We can’t change other people. We can only change the way we respond to them.
We can’t change the future. We can only choose the “now” over and over and over again.
There’s no such thing as the way you “should feel.” There’s only what you do feel and what you don’t feel. What you do about it is another story.
Life has no ultimate goal. We have moments and choices for as long as we live. My purpose as a therapist is to help you appreciate every moment and make enlivening choices.
